Hi, I'm Kera
Since 2009 the art of photographing weddings has been my passion.
The last fourteen years have been incredible. Along the way as photo clients become friends and then my new friends have babies I find myself adding to my collection of maternity, newborn, family and senior portraits. Those friends too want headshots or life event photography or have a business and need product photography. This has taken me to some very fun places and aloud me to spend time with amazing people, some perhaps experiencing some of the most emotional and happy times of their lives.
The first five years of my photography career I shot alongside friends willing to give an entire Saturday to second shoot. 2016 to 2021 most of the weddings I shot were booked through The Carrs Photography in Dayton, Ohio.
The last few years provided some rest from shooting. 2022/2023 was my first year teaching Art K-12 for a charter school downtown. It has been inspiring and rewarding. In the 'Senior' gallery some of our students are featured currently.

We'll meet or chat again to go over the wedding day schedule in detail, ensuring every important moment is accounted for.
We'll discuss the photography timeline, must-have shots, family portrait lists, and any special requests you have.
This is also the time to confirm the logistics, such as addresses, timelines, and emergency contact details.
​The Initial Consultation

The process starts with an initial consultation (in-person or virtual) where we get to know each other. We’ll discuss your vision, style preferences, and specific photography needs for both the engagement session and the wedding day.

We’ll go over package options, timelines, and contract details. Once you’re happy with everything, the booking is confirmed, and the fun begins!
​The Engagement Shoot

We'll choose a meaningful location that fits your style as a couple. Whether it’s a scenic park, urban setting, or a place that holds special significance to you, this shoot is all about capturing your connection

The shoot will be relaxed and fun. I'll guide you through natural poses while also capturing candid moments. It's all about making you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
You'll get a variety of shots – from romantic and intimate to playful and spontaneous. -
Edited images will be delivered within a few weeks, giving you a chance to use them for "save the date" cards, wedding websites, or social media.
The Wedding Day

I’ll start capturing the day's beginning, focusing on getting-ready moments for both the bride and groom. I’ll ensure to photograph all the special details, like the dress, rings, flowers, and candid interactions.

If you choose to do a first look, we’ll capture that intimate moment before heading to the ceremony. During the ceremony, my focus will be on documenting the key moments, reactions, and emotions.

Immediately following the ceremony, we’ll proceed with family portraits and bridal party photos. I’ll guide everyone through the group shots efficiently so you can get back to celebrating.

We'll take some time to photograph the two of you together, taking advantage of the venue’s scenery or any nearby locations you love.

I’ll capture the excitement of your reception, including the grand entrance, first dance, speeches, and candid guest moments. I’ll stay through key events, like cake cutting and the couple’s send-off.
The Delivery and Follow-Up

The editing process will begin, with a focus on enhancing each image to reflect the day’s emotions and beauty. Expect to receive a sneak peek of a few photos within a week.
The full gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks, with high-resolution images available for download. -
I'll be in touch to ensure you're happy with everything and to discuss any further photography needs, like anniversary sessions or family shoots in the future.
